WFI issues show-cause notice to Paris Olympics medallist Aman Sehrawat, freestyle coaches for being overweight

The Wrestling Federation of India issued a show-cause notice to Aman Sehrawat and four coaches after the Paris Olympics medallist failed to make weight by 1.7 kg at the World Championships, leading to his disqualification in the freestyle 57 kg category. WFI has emphasised accountability, noting two disqualifications involving top wrestlers in a short span. The federation had previously suspended Neha Sangwan for two years after overweight disqualification.
