Chicago Cubs player Matt Shaw missed a game against Cincinnati Reds. He attended the memorial for Charlie Kirk in Arizona. Kirk, a conservative activist, passed away earlier. The memorial saw 90,000 attendees, including Donald Trump. Shaw and Kirk met at a Cubs game in August. Shaw will rejoin the Cubs for their series against the New York Mets.
