The Punjab government has initiated special health camps in flood-affected regions, reaching over 51,000 individuals on the first day. Health camps were conducted in 2,016 villages, offering check-ups, treatment, and medications. ASHA workers screened 132,322 families, providing essential medicines and medical kits, while cleanliness drives and vector-control measures are underway to prevent diseases like dengue and malaria.
