Ilaiyaraaja has taken legal action against the movie ‘Good Bad Ugly’. He claims the film used his classic songs without consent. He filed a petition in Madras High Court. Ilaiyaraaja seeks compensation of Rs 5 crore. The court has issued an interim injunction. It restricts the film from using the songs. The production company must respond in writing.
