ABC Talkies, in collaboration with Shot2Shot Films & Entertainment and Kerala’s media schools, has launched the 5th edition of The Big Shorts Challenge. This year features a free viewing model benefiting filmmakers financially, new Jury Awards across multiple categories, and a Rs 1,00,000 sponsorship for the Most Promising Filmmaker. The competition ensures equal opportunity for exposure and offers an expanded prize pool totaling Rs 2,75,000. Submissions are open from March 1 to April 15, 2025, with winners announced in June.
