Bihar polls: Nitish govt minister hounded by mob; chased for 1km, car attacked

In Bihar’s Nalanda district, Rural Development Minister Shrawan Kumar and JD(U) legislator Krishna Murari Sharan faced villagers’ wrath following a road accident that killed nine. Villagers, demanding immediate compensation, chased the minister and MLA for a kilometre after the minister’s delayed response. The minister switched vehicles multiple times to escape the angry mob, resulting in injuries to a security officer.
