Thailand is launching an 18-month pilot program, TouristDigiPay, allowing tourists to convert cryptocurrencies into Thai baht. This initiative aims to boost the tourism sector, which is still recovering from the pandemic. Visitors can exchange up to 550,000 baht, with merchant limits also in place.
