The State Investigation Agency (SIA) conducted raids in central Kashmir, targeting former members of the banned JKLF, as part of their investigation into the 1990 murder of Sarla Bhat, a Kashmiri Pandit woman. Bhat disappeared from her hostel in April 1990, and her body was later discovered in Srinagar.
