Former MP Prajwal Revanna was sentenced to life imprisonment by a special court on Saturday, a day after being convicted of repeatedly raping his domestic help. Special Judge Santosh Gajanan Bhat announced the verdict in a packed courtroom, also imposing a fine of ₹11.6 lakh, with ₹11.25 lakh as compensation for the survivor.
