In Chandauli district, a joint operation by GRP and RPF at Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction led to the apprehension of Mafizul Sheikh. He was found carrying Rs 29.67 lakh in unaccounted cash on the Gurumukhi Express. Sheikh, a resident of Birbhum, West Bengal, boarded the train from Nangal Dam, en route to Kolkata.
