In Anjar, Gujarat, a 25-year-old woman police officer, Aruna Jadav, was murdered by her live-in partner, Dilip Jadav, a CRPF jawan. Following an argument, Dilip strangled Aruna at their rented home. He then attempted suicide but survived. On Saturday morning, Dilip surrendered to Anjar police and confessed to the crime. Police are investigating the events leading to Aruna’s death.
