Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal announced that the India-EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) will be implemented from October 1st. Signed on March 10, 2024, the pact includes a USD 100 billion investment commitment from the EFTA nations over 15 years. India will also lower or eliminate duties on certain products like Swiss watches and diamonds.
