Elon Musk’s xAI, now merged with Twitter, has launched AI companions within the Grok app for “Super Grok” subscribers. These companions include a flirty anime girl named “Ani” and a friendly red panda called “Rudi,” currently available on iOS. xAI is also hiring engineers to develop more ‘Anime companions,’ while recently apologizing for Grok’s antisemitic posts.
