The Supreme Court of India will hear a petition seeking a re-test of NEET-UG 2025 for students affected by power outages at exam centres in Indore and Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The plea challenges a Madhya Pradesh High Court ruling which dismissed earlier petitions. Petitioners claim blackouts disrupted the exam and impaired performance. The Supreme Court has sought a response from the NTA. The matter is expected to be heard before NEET-UG counselling begins on July 21.
