Frank Layden, former Utah Jazz coach, passed away on Thursday. He was 93. Layden led the Jazz to their first playoffs. He won NBA Coach of the Year in 1984. He also won Executive of the Year. The Utah Jazz and NBA mourned Layden’s death. They posted tributes on social media. Layden coached the Jazz from 1981 to 1989.
