Dhaba workers on Kanwar routes told to remove trousers during ‘identity drive’

Uttar Pradesh police have issued notices to supporters of an ashram head for allegedly conducting unauthorized identity checks on dhaba workers along the Kanwar Yatra route in Muzaffarnagar. The group demanded Aadhaar cards and other personal details, even attempting to verify a worker’s religion forcibly.
