Port Adelaide player Brandon Zerk-Thatcher and his girlfriend narrowly escaped a suspicious car fire that erupted near their Glenelg East home early Thursday morning. Awakened by loud bangs and smoke, the couple rescued their kittens and fled as flames engulfed a nearby Audi, quickly spreading towards their residence.
