Killed by TTP: Pakistan major who captured Abhinandan dies; Munir attends funeral

A Pakistan military officer, Major Syed Moiz Abbas Shah, who claimed to have captured Indian Air Force pilot Abhinandan Varthaman in 2019, has been killed in a clash with Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants near the Afghan border. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that Major Shah died alongside Lance Naik Jibran Ullah during an operation in South Waziristan.
