Shubhanshu Shukla’s pre-launch video released; Ax-4 lifts off to ISS; dedicates mission to India

Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla made history on June 25, 2025, as the first Indian to travel to the ISS on a commercial mission. Aboard SpaceX’s Crew Dragon, Shukla and his international crewmates are en route to the ISS for a two-week research mission. Shortly after liftoff, Shukla expressed his pride, dedicating the mission to India and its burgeoning space program.
