Researchers have discovered fossils of an enormous prehistoric snake named Vasuki indicus in India, which lived around 47 million years ago. Initially thought to be a crocodile, the snake was estimated to be 36-50 feet long, making it one of the largest ever recorded. It thrived in a warm climate and was likely an ambush predator.
