Mirra Andreeva made history by becoming the youngest WTA 1000 champion at 17, defeating Clara Tauson in the Dubai final. Andreeva, who beat top players including Iga Swiatek, will debut in the top 10 rankings. Tauson had previously ousted world number one Aryna Sabalenka.
