The country’s second largest IT services company Infosys has appointed Ashish Kumar Dash as its new CEO. The company announced this leadership change along with the first quarter results on July 23, 2026. He will replace current CEO and MD Salil Parekh. He will assume charge as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director from April 1, 2027. His tenure will be for 5 years, which will run till March 31, 2032. Company’s profit increased by 12.2% to ₹7,769 crore In the June quarter, the company’s consolidated net profit increased by 12.2% on an annual basis to ₹7,769 crore, which was ₹6,921 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year. The company’s net profit declined by 8.6% compared to ₹8,501 crore in the previous quarter. Revenue increased by 14% to ₹48,211 crore Infosys’s revenue has increased by 14% on an annual basis to Rs 48,211 crore. In the same period a year ago, the company had achieved revenue of Rs 42,279 crore. On a quarterly basis (QoQ), the company’s revenue has recorded a growth of 4%. In the fourth quarter (March quarter) of the previous financial year, the company’s revenue was Rs 46,402 crore. Salil Parekh says – Company’s earnings doubled in 8 years Outgoing MD and CEO Salil Parekh said that leading Infosys for the past eight years has been a matter of great honor for him. During this period, the company’s revenue has doubled from $10 billion to more than $20 billion. Salil Parekh further said that we have strengthened our position in the field of digital transformation and have prepared a separate strategy for AI transformation. Having worked with Ashish for many years, I have closely observed his integrity, customer-centric thinking, and ability to lead during times of change. He has a deep understanding of our customers, business, and employees. I am fully confident that he will successfully take Infosys to the next phase of transformation.
