In this auction organized by auction house Sotheby’s, the jacket’s price was 16 times more than expected. Earlier, it was estimated to sell for $40,000 to $60,000 (approximately ₹33 lakh to ₹50 lakh). The entire amount received from this auction will be donated to help young innovators in the tech and science sector.
