A Tavera car overturned four times within three seconds before veering off the road and crashing into a field in Bherunda, Sehore district. During the crash, the driver was thrown around 20 feet into the air. A video of the accident, which took place on 6 July, surfaced on Wednesday. One young woman died in the crash, while six other occupants were injured. According to police, all those travelling in the Tavera were residents of Khandwa and were on their way to Narsinghpur for work. The accident occurred near Bhadakui after the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle. Police and an ambulance also arrived shortly after receiving information about the accident. The injured were taken to hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. Following the post-mortem examination, the body of the deceased woman was handed over to her family. Bherunda SDOP Roshan Jain said the Tavera had not collided with any other vehicle. “The driver lost control of the speeding vehicle. We are investigating the matter,” he said.
