A case of molestation and assault involving a beauty parlour owner has come to light in the Bahodapur area of Gwalior. According to the woman, a man known to her from the past entered her parlour, behaved indecently, abused her and grabbed her hand with ill intent. Showing courage, the woman pushed the accused away, freed herself and managed to escape from the spot. Police have registered a case on the victim’s complaint and initiated an investigation. Entered parlour and created a scene According to police, the 36-year-old victim runs a beauty parlour in the Bahodapur area. In her complaint, she stated that she had come in contact with a man identified as Vijendra Singh around three to four years ago through social media. The two had also been in touch over phone calls. At around 6 pm on Sunday, Vijendra Singh allegedly arrived at her parlour unexpectedly and started an argument without any apparent reason. Indecent behaviour and molestation after she objected The victim alleged that when she asked the accused to stop abusing her, he became more aggressive. He allegedly used obscene language and grabbed her hand with ill intent, attempting to molest her. The woman pushed the accused away with full force, managed to free herself and ran out of the parlour to escape. Reached police station with her mother After the incident, the victim went straight home and informed her mother about what had happened. The two then went to Bahodapur police station, where police immediately registered a case based on her complaint. He said the matter is under investigation and efforts have begun to trace the accused. He added that the accused would be arrested soon and further legal action would be taken in accordance with the law.
