The School Education Department has issued appointment orders for a total of 5,017 selected candidates, including 4,067 secondary teachers and 950 primary teachers. The secondary teacher posts cover subjects such as Hindi, Mathematics, English, Sanskrit, Social Science, Sports and Music. Later, the Directorate of Public Instruction completed the school preference (choice filling) process, for which June 21, 2026, was the final date. Appointment orders were issued about a week after the process concluded. Selected teacher candidates had earlier staged protests outside the DPI office demanding appointment letters.
