Shreyas Iyer’s cap blown away by the wind The start of the match witnessed an interesting moment with the wind blowing away Shreyas Iyer’s cap. This happened at the toss took place. The conditions in Manchester were windy and overcast, and Shreyas’ cap was hilariously blown off his head by the breeze. Sooryavanshi vs Archer: A first-ball six by the youngster With Sooryavanshi playing the match, many would have looked forward to the youngster going up against Jofra Archer. The two are teammates at Rajasthan Royals and would have faced each other in the nets quite often. But this was the first time that fans all across the world got to see their duel. Facing the very first ball against the England pacer, Sooryavanshi went down on one knee and smashed the ball over the fine leg fence for a six. The maximum was not a surprising one, however, as the youngster has taken the attack to the very best in the IPL, which includes Jasprit Bumrah and Josh Hazlewood, among others. India vs England 2nd T20I, Top Records 1) Vaibhav Sooryavanshi: Second-youngest debutant in men’s international cricket With his maiden appearance in international cricket against England in the 2nd T20I, Sooryavanshi became the second-youngest debutant in international cricket. England’s biggest run-chase against India England chased their biggest target in T20s against India. They broke a 14-year-old record by achieving a target of 191. The team had achieved a target of 178 runs against India at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium in 2012.
