MP Govt transfers 9 IPS officers:Ruchi Vardhan becomes Bhopal Rural IG; Sagar, Narmadapuram also get new IGs

The state government, late on Friday night, transferred 9 IPS officers, including the Superintendents of Police of Shahdol and Rajgarh. Sanjay Kumar Agarwal has been made SP of Shahdol and Priyanka Shukla has been made SP of Shajapur. Meanwhile, new IGs have been posted in Sagar, Narmadapuram and Bhopal Rural. Mithilesh Shukla has been made IG of Sagar Range. He is currently IG of Narmadapuram Zone and also had additional charge of Sagar IG. After Himani Khanna’s retirement, the post of Sagar IG was being operated as an additional charge. The Home Department has posted Chandrashekhar Solanki, who is currently posted in Indore SAF Range, as IG Narmadapuram. Meanwhile, Ruchi Vardhan Mishra, posted as IG Administration, PHQ, has been made IG Rural Zone, Bhopal. Who got new responsibility where? Additional responsibility to Katiyar and Anurag Special Director General of Police (Administration) Adarsh Katiyar has been given additional charge of Special DG, Telecommunications, PHQ along with his current responsibility. IG Indore Rural Zone Anurag has been given additional charge of IG SAF Indore Range and IG RAPTC Indore.
