The Madhya Pradesh government has announced a recruitment drive for 2,548 vacancies in the Women and Child Development Department. The recruitment includes 781 posts of Anganwadi Workers and 1,767 posts of Anganwadi Helpers. The selection will be carried out under various Child Development Projects across the state. Eligible women can submit their applications online through the MP Online portal until July 13. Only online applications will be accepted The entire recruitment process will be conducted online. Applicants will have to pay an application fee of ₹100, along with 18% GST. Candidates will be allowed to correct errors in their application forms until July 15. The department has clarified that offline applications will not be accepted. Preference for local women The recruitment process gives priority to local representation. Only women residing in the village or urban ward where the vacancy exists will be eligible to apply. Women from other villages or wards will not be considered for those posts. Eligibility criteria Applicants for both posts must have passed Class 12. Mark sheets issued by boards or institutions outside Madhya Pradesh will be accepted only if they are included in the equivalency list of the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education. As of January 1, 2026, candidates must be between 18 and 35 years of age. A Class 10 mark sheet will be mandatory as proof of age. Applicants must also upload all required documents in PDF format while submitting the online application.
