gwalior’s-sachin-tendulkar-marg-to-become-cricket-theme-road:fans-to-witness-master-blaster’s-achievements-on-wall-paintings-artworks

Gwalior’s Sachin Tendulkar Marg will now be developed on a cricket theme. This road, dividers, footpaths, and public facilities will be designed in line with cricket-related symbols and the achievements of the great player Sachin Tendulkar. On the instructions of Collector Ruchika Chauhan, Municipal Corporation Additional Commissioner T. Prateek Rao has directed Smart City Sub-Engineer Abhishek Tripathi and concerned officials to give the road an attractive and theme-based look. Cricket theme to be seen across the entire route Additional Commissioner T. Prateek Rao informed that this road will be developed in such a way that visitors can get a glimpse of the spirit of cricket and Sachin Tendulkar’s glorious career. For this, special artworks of cricket bats will be installed on the road dividers. Sachin Tendulkar’s signatures will also be displayed on these artworks. In addition, benches installed on sidewalks for common citizens to sit will also be designed in line with the cricket theme. Various cricket-related symbols and artistic figures will be created on the benches. Officials have also been instructed to demarcate the footpath and develop it systematically. Focus on better infrastructure, water conservation and wall paintings To make the route more attractive, cricket-themed wall paintings will be done on the walls. These will specifically showcase glimpses of the memorable and highest scores made by Sachin Tendulkar at Captain Roop Singh Stadium. Along with beautification, the redevelopment plan also focuses on improving civic infrastructure. Additional Commissioner T. Prateek Rao has instructed Nodal Officer Rakesh Kashyap to develop water harvesting systems in the lower parts of the route as part of the city’s water conservation efforts. The road has remained in poor condition for several years, causing inconvenience to commuters and nearby residents due to potholes and dust. The redevelopment is expected to solve these long-standing problems while giving the area a fresh and modern appearance.
