The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination under strict security arrangements across Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. Special monitoring and security measures are in place at examination centres throughout the state. Bhopal has 32 examination centres, while Narmadapuram is under a three-layer security system with surveillance by CISF personnel. In Dewas, examination materials reach centres under tight security. Several candidates report inconvenience due to last-minute changes in examination centres. A student from Jhabua, who arrives in Indore for the test, says preparing again after the earlier examination was cancelled is challenging. Strict security measures at centres The NTA and district administrations implement strict examination guidelines. Candidates are not allowed to carry mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, smart watches or any electronic gadgets inside the examination hall. Special security arrangements include: Candidates advised to reach early NTA asks candidates to arrive at centres well before reporting time. Students wearing religious or traditional attire are advised to come early as additional screening is required. Reporting, biometric verification and frisking begin at 11 am and continue until 1.30 pm. No candidate is allowed entry after the reporting window closes. The examination is scheduled from 2 pm to 5.15 pm. Divyang candidates will receive an additional 65 minutes. Help booths set up at railway stations Special help booths have been established at railway stations in Bhopal, Vidisha, Narmadapuram, Guna and Ashok Nagar. Medical colleges cancel holidays The National Medical Commission (NMC) cancels holidays on June 20 and 21 at medical colleges and institutions to support examination arrangements. Dress code for candidates Candidates are advised to wear simple, light-coloured clothes. Thick fabrics, large buttons and clothing with multiple pockets should be avoided. Jewellery, watches, belts and other prohibited items are not allowed inside the examination centres.
