In a tragic road accident in Madhya Pradesh’s Dewas district, a young man lost his life while his girlfriend and the car driver sustained injuries. The girlfriend was reportedly kept unaware of her boyfriend’s death for several hours after the crash and continued to plead with hospital staff to let her meet him. According to information, the accident took place around 5 am on Friday in Tonk Khurd. An unidentified vehicle allegedly collided with the car. The deceased has been identified as Mohit Vajpayee, a resident of Uttar Pradesh. A young woman travelling with him and the driver were also injured in the crash. All three were rushed to the district hospital following the accident. Doctors at the hospital declared Mohit Vajpayee dead after examination. Meanwhile, the car driver reportedly left the hospital during treatment without informing anyone. The injured woman, however, kept asking about Mohit. Witnesses said she repeatedly broke down in tears and pleaded with doctors and staff, saying, “Please let me meet my Mohit just once.” See 3 pictures related to the accident… Social media friendship turned into relationship The injured woman told police that she had met Mohit through Instagram about a year ago. As their conversations grew, they developed a close relationship and eventually decided to get married. According to her, neither family was aware of their relationship. The couple was travelling from Uttar Pradesh to Indore on Friday with plans to get married in a temple. However, the accident near Tonk Khurd changed their lives forever. Father says Mohit was already married After receiving information about the accident, Mohit’s father Prem Narayan reached the district hospital. He said the family lives in Indore and that Mohit had travelled to Uttar Pradesh two days earlier with his mother to attend a family wedding. According to his father, Mohit had spoken to him on Thursday and said he was returning to Indore after dropping his mother back. He further revealed that Mohit was already married and had a child. Family members said they had no knowledge of the injured woman or her relationship with Mohit. According to them, he had never discussed the matter at home. Missing report of young woman registered in Uttar Pradesh Constable Neeraj Chaudhary of Haidergarh police station in Uttar Pradesh said the young woman’s family had filed a missing person complaint on Thursday evening. A missing person report has been registered and her family has been informed about the accident. Police said they are independently verifying all facts related to the case.
