In this innings played on Thursday at Sandis Compound Ground in Bhagalpur, she hit 55 fours and 8 sixes at a strike rate of 242.86. Akshara completed her half-century in 16 balls and then went on to smash a century in 34 balls. She remained at the crease for 233 minutes (3 hours 53 minutes). Akshara, who hails from Raxaul in Bihar, is the captain of the Under-19 women’s team. Akshara has also become the first woman cricketer from Bihar to play tournaments in all four age groups of BCCI in a single season – Under-15, Under-19, Under-23, and Senior Women’s Team.
