The victim claims that even after the incident, the accused continues to issue death threats, forcing the victims to leave their homes and live in fear. Police have arrested four of the eight named accused, while four others remain at large. In a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Lucky narrated his ordeal of those 9 hours, which he still shudders to recall. Read the report… Dispute allegedly stemmed from PDS rice trade According to victim Lucky Tomar, the conflict originated from competition in the trade of Public Distribution System (PDS) rice. He alleged that local trader Akash Tomar had long been involved in buying and selling subsidized government rice. In recent years, another trader, Saurabh Tomar, entered the business, with Lucky and his friends Harsh Bhadauria (also known as Brandy) and Mohit Tomar assisting him. The resulting rivalry allegedly triggered the attack. Victims claim they were lured and abducted Lucky said the incident occurred on the morning of May 31. According to his account, the accused first abducted Harsh and Mohit near Dhaneta Road and took them to an agricultural field in Gyanand village. Around 11:30 MP, he received a phone call from one of his friends’ mobile phones asking him to come to the location. Upon arrival, he alleges that he too was forcibly detained and held captive alongside the other two. See pictures of the assault “We begged for mercy, but no one relented” Lucky alleged that from afternoon until night, the three men were repeatedly assaulted, forced into painful positions, and beaten with sticks, kicks, and punches. He claimed they repeatedly pleaded to be released and even fell at the accused’s feet, but the abuse continued throughout the day while threats were repeatedly issued. Allegation of fabricated evidence and extortion According to Lucky, the accused placed a stolen motorcycle, a country-made firearm, and a pistol near the victims before taking photographs. He alleged they were warned that if they approached the police, the images would be used to falsely implicate them in theft and illegal weapons cases. The accused also allegedly boasted of having influence within the police and administration. Lucky further claimed that they were released around 9 PM only after being told to arrange ₹1 lakh within two days, failing which they would be framed in fabricated criminal cases. Victims left town out of fear Unable to arrange the money and too frightened to immediately inform their families, the three allegedly travelled to Gwalior, where they sought treatment from private doctors for their injuries. Since the incident, Harsh and Mohit have reportedly left Porsa, while Lucky says he is constantly changing locations due to continuing threats. He alleged that one absconding accused, Khiladi Tomar, has sent repeated messages claiming he would “shoot the three victims first and surrender later.” Videos of assault allegedly surfaced online Lucky claimed that the accused themselves uploaded videos of the assault on social media, which eventually came to the attention of the police. Following those videos, police contacted the victims, and a formal complaint was lodged on June 10. After the case was registered, five additional videos allegedly depicting the assault surfaced. According to the victims, the clips show individuals being beaten with sticks, forced into humiliating positions, pressured to confess to theft, and threatened while being filmed.
