The problem of contaminated water has surfaced once again in Indore. After Bhagiratpura, now in Mahavir Nagar of Ward No. 16, information has emerged about 10 people falling ill due to contaminated water. Residents of the area have been complaining about dirty and foul-smelling water for several days. After receiving information about the matter, Municipal Corporation officials reached the spot. They assessed the situation by talking to people and started inspection of water supply and borewells. Water samples sent for testing Residents allege that if the corporation had conducted timely monitoring and regular inspections, this situation would not have arisen. People say that due to drinking contaminated water, several families are experiencing vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach-related problems. According to preliminary information, sewerage water got mixed in the area’s only borewell, affecting the supply and contaminated water reached homes. This has created a distressing situation in the entire area. Municipal corporation officials say that water samples have been sent for testing. Necessary steps are being taken to resolve the problem. People have been advised to boil water before drinking for now. A team from the municipal corporation and NGO reached the spot. The team is gathering information from people about how many people are sick and where the water came from. The news is being updated
