Because of this delay, the state government is likely to extend the transfer period by about one week. An official order may be issued on Monday. Only a few departments completed transfers The government had allowed transfers between June 1 and June 15. During this period, only a few departments such as the National Health Mission (NHM) under the Health Department and the Public Works Department were able to issue transfer orders on time. Many major departments are still in the process. CM had earlier said deadline would not be extended The transfer policy was approved in a cabinet meeting on May 20. On May 22, the General Administration Department issued guidelines instructing all departments to complete transfers by June 15. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav had also repeatedly said that the deadline would not be extended and departments should finish work on time. Despite this, several departments failed to meet the deadline. Education, Panchayat and Revenue departments behind schedule According to sources, departments like School Education, Panchayat and Rural Development, Revenue, and Tribal Affairs are still processing transfers. Their work is expected to continue beyond June 15. The School Education Department has even made separate arrangements to complete transfers till July. Government considering one-week extension Due to incomplete work in many departments, the General Administration Department is now preparing to extend the transfer deadline. Sources say discussions have already taken place with the Chief Minister, and there is agreement on giving an additional one week. If the order is issued, departments will get more time to complete pending transfer decisions.
