India dished out a dominant performance to beat Pakistan by 64 runs in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in Birmingham on 14 June. Smriti Mandhana struck a sensational 68 while Deepti Sharma scalped five wickets in India’s emphatic start to their campaign. Deepti was named Player of the Match for her superb five-wicket haul wherein she conceded just 10 runs in her four overs. Thipatcha has 165 wickets to her name. Deepti now has 166 wickets in T20 Internationals. 2) Deepti nears Jhulan’s record India’s Jhulan Goswami holds the record for the most wickets in Women’s International Cricket. She has taken 355 wickets. Deepti Sharma, who took 5 wickets against Pakistan, has now moved closer to her. Deepti has 351 wickets. 3) Harman, the highest run-scorer for India in Women’s T20 World Cup Harman scored 36 runs against Pakistan. With this innings, she has become the highest run-scorer for India in the Women’s T20 World Cup. Harman now has 762 runs in the Women’s T20 World Cup. She surpassed former captain Mithali Raj (726 runs).
4) India registered their 7th win against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup With this victory, India has defeated Pakistan for the 7th time in the Women’s T20 World Cup. This is jointly the second-highest number of wins against a single team in the tournament. Australia is at the first position. They have defeated South Africa 8 times in the tournament’s history.
