In Indore’s Pandharinath area, a collection agent was robbed of nearly ₹30 lakh on Thursday night when two men on an Activa snatched a bag containing cash collections from utensil traders and fled. The incident was captured on CCTV, which clearly shows the accused committing the robbery. Around 8:30 PM, collection agent Mukesh Agarwal was returning after collecting money from traders in Bartan Bazaar and Mohanpura when the miscreants intercepted him, threatened him, grabbed the bag, and escaped. Following this, senior officers also reached the police station and took information about the matter. According to Additional DCP Dishesh Agrawal, police from three stations have been deployed to investigate the case, and CCTV footage from the surrounding areas is being scanned. Around 25 personnel are now engaged in identifying the culprits and attempting their arrest. Officials remained at the police station until two in the morning, investigating the escape route of the culprits. The involvement of an acquaintance of the collection agent is also suspected in the case.
