Rajnath Singh’s relative dies in MP road accident:Speeding bus hits victim in Indore; body to be airlifted to Delhi

A relative of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh died in a road accident in Indore. The accident occurred in the Shipra police station area on Thursday night around 11 PM. The body will be airlifted to Delhi. The last rites will be performed in Ballia. The deceased has been identified as Prashant Singh (29). He was a resident of Rewati, Gai Ghat in Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh. His father, Pradeep Singh, is related as the brother of Union Minister Rajnath Singh. According to the police, Pradeep had come to Dewas with three acquaintances for some work. On Thursday night, they were coming towards Indore by car. They stopped the car near Shipra for some work. As they were about to get back into the car, a speeding bus hit them. Pradeep sustained a deep head injury in the accident. His companions took him to Aurobindo Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. BJP leaders, including MLA, reached the hospital Upon receiving information about the accident, Sonkatch MLA Rajesh Sonkar, along with several BJP leaders, reached the hospital. Administrative and police officials also arrived. The post-mortem of the body was conducted at night after obtaining special permission. Police searching for bus driver After the accident, the bus driver fled the scene with the vehicle. Police are searching for him.
