An AC exploded at the Prism Johnson Cement Factory located in Mankahari, Satna district of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday. In the accident, one employee died on the spot, while another was severely burnt. The injured employee has been referred to Jabalpur. According to Rampur police, the accident occurred on Thursday evening around 4:15 PM. The deceased has been identified as Vikram Singh Patel, a resident of Dadhiya. Vikram was filling gas in the AC, while employee Saket was standing near him. During this time, the AC exploded with a loud bang. Both employees were caught in it. Employee’s stomach burst, hand also broke The accident was so severe that Vikram Singh Patel, who was caught in the explosion, had his stomach burst and his intestines came out. The force of the blast threw him far away, causing his hand to break as well. The floor at the scene became soaked with blood. Pieces of flesh were scattered around. Due to severe injuries, Vikram died on the spot. It is being reported that his condition remains critical. Treatment is ongoing under doctors’ supervision. Police Reached the Spot Upon Receiving Information As soon as information about the accident was received, Rampur Baghelan police station officers reached the factory. They inspected the scene of the incident. The police took possession of the deceased’s body and sent it for post-mortem. The police are awaiting the post-mortem report. After the accident, negotiations regarding compensation are ongoing between the deceased’s family members and factory management within the factory premises. A large number of laborers and employees were also present at the spot after the incident.
