Virat Kohli has flaunted a new hairstyle after IPL 2026. The star cricketer, popularly referred to as ‘King Kohli’, underwent a makeover weeks after starring in the Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) second consecutive IPL victory. Kohli played a pivotal role in RCB’s title win, scoring 675 runs in 16 matches. In the final, he scored his fastest IPL fifty, finishing with an unbeaten 75 off 42 balls and struck the winning six that sealed back-to-back titles for the Bengaluru-based franchise. Virat Kohli undergoes fresh makeover In a video on Instagram, shared by celebrity hair stylist Rashid Salmani, the 37-year-old was seen showing off his fresh look. Kohli not only had a haircut but also appeared to have coloured his hair. While sharing the video, Salmani wrote, “King Kohli, now in pastels. #rashidtheartist #viratkohli #pastelhaircolour.”
The video instantly went viral on Instagram, garnering more than 10,000 likes in no time. The video was liked by Anushka Sharma as well. However, this is not the first time that Salmani has styled Kohli. In a post from 2022, he shared a picture of Kohli showing off his hairstyle with him standing behind. Salmani has also coloured Anushka’s hair last month. Rashid Salmani styled Gautam Gambhir, Hardik Pandya among others Kohli is also not the first cricketer who has been styled by Salmani. He has also styled the likes of Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir, all-rounder Hardik Pandya, Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill and Rinku Singh among others. Virat Kohli sidelined due to hamstring injury, might be fit for England ODIs Kohli meanwhile is currently sidelined due to a hamstring injury that has ruled him out of the upcoming three-match ODI series against Afghanistan, which starts on 13 June. There remains uncertainty over his participation in the England ODIs as well. “Virat got injured in the IPL final, we do not know the timeline but it looks like he might be fit for the England series,” chief selector Ajit Agarkar had said earlier. Kohli, only active in ODI cricket, had his last international assignment way back in January in the ODI series against New Zealand.
