tantriks-charge-thousands-for-rituals-promising-supernatural-powers:₹31k-course-to-become-aghoris;-teaches-tantra-rituals-in-4-hrs

Videos showing rituals in cremation grounds, surrounded by skulls, corpses and people dressed in black, are being widely shared on social media. These videos claim that special spiritual practices can make money appear, uncover buried treasure, destroy enemies and bring back lost love. Dainik Bhaskar’s investigation found that some groups are offering paid courses under names such as ‘Aghor Guru Diksha’, ‘Shamshan Sadhana’ and ‘Tantra Siddhi’. Participants are charged thousands of rupees and are promised they will learn supernatural powers, including attracting wealth, finding hidden treasure, reuniting with lost love and removing negative spiritual influences. The investigation suggests that such claims are being used to attract people by appealing to their fears, hopes and belief in miracles. Under the guise of these siddhis, a business of fraud is running through superstition. How this fraud business is operating, today in Sunday Big Story, discussion on this very topic… During the investigation, we found a video of a tantric from Ujjain on social media, in which some people wearing black clothes were seen performing yagna and sadhana in Aghori attire. The video claimed that this was a special tantric sadhana that makes money flow high. On further investigation, another video was found on the same account, in which a shower of notes was shown in front of a person performing sadhana. In another video, a woman was claiming that money actually flows through sadhana, and the tantric also teaches this sadhana to others. For this, one has to register by paying a fee. Bhaskar Reporter, contacted the tantric, who calls himself an Aghori and claims to run an organisation named ‘International Kapalik and Aghor Akhada’ in Ujjain. In the conversation, he claimed to teach practices like ‘Paison Ki Baarish’ and ‘Buried Treasure’. Key excerpts from the conversation between Reporter and Tantric- Can you teach me all this knowledge?
Tantric: We teach practices. Is there also a practice for ‘Paison Ki Baarish’?
Tantric: Yes. What needs to be done for it? How much time does it take? Tantric: First, initiation has to be taken. There is a 31-day initiation. In that, you receive the guru mantra. After that, can the buried treasure sadhana also be done? Tantric: Yes, but first, the guru mantra sadhana, Ganesh sadhana, and family deity sadhana must be completed. After that, you can do whatever you want. Does this siddhi of paison ki baarish really happen? Tantric: Hard work has to be done. The video that has been posted is real. The person who was taught took 11 months to attain the siddhi. Does the sadhana have to be done at night? I’m a bit scared. Tantric: Some sadhanas are for night, some for morning. Going to the cremation ground is not necessary. You can do it sitting at home as well. Tantrik’s claim that the video of money rain is real The tantrik claimed that the video of ‘Paison Ki Baarish’ he posted on social media is real, and it took a practitioner 11 months to attain this siddhi (spiritual power). When Bhaskar investigated this video, it turned out to be from Chhattisgarh. There, the police had already arrested the concerned tantrik in a case of fraud and cheating. After this, the tantrik sent the complete package of becoming an Aghori and performing the sadhana (spiritual practice) for making money rain. A centre called ‘Gurukul Amogh Aghora’ located in Ujjain offered a Guru Diksha package. The message sent described packages and offers like a professional course and claimed to teach various sadhanas in just four hours. Asked for ₹10k even after meeting When the reporter expressed a desire to take diksha, the date of May 21 was given. Along with this, it was mentioned that a discount of ₹10k would be given under the offer. For this, they were asked to send a copy of their Aadhaar card and an advance amount. It was claimed that after registration, the location, necessary materials and complete procedure would be sent on WhatsApp. The location was kept confidential until the day the initiation was claimed to be given. Later, ₹50K was demanded from the reporter to teach the money shower ritual. This amount was not asked for as a donation or offering, but as a fee. Even for a normal meeting, ₹10K were demanded. ‘Mahadev Dham’s Tantric ritual package To find out if this was happening only at one place, Bhaskar investigated further. In this, two other tantriks also sent lists of alleged rituals and their rates. Tantrik Deepak, associated with ‘Mahadev Dham’ in Mathura, UP, even claimed to teach how to see buried treasure online. He had posted several videos on social media, in which claims were made of extracting buried treasure and gold. The videos showed scenes of performing tantric rituals and extracting gold from the ground. The tantrik claimed that he had come to Madhya Pradesh several times and extracted buried treasure. Called three days a month for learning The message also stated that to ‘learn tantra-mantra’, one would have to reach the given address on the 10th, 20th and 30th of every month. Similarly, a tantric promoting himself under the name ‘Haresh Tantra’ claimed to revive the dead. He claimed to provide a complete package of this sadhana along with many mysterious tantric practices for ₹1,200 through a WhatsApp group. Taking advantage of fear, greed and superstition Throughout the investigation, one thing became clear: this network first identifies a person’s vulnerability. Someone is in financial trouble, someone is scared of illness, and someone desires to become rich quickly. After that, through terms like ‘guru mantra’, ‘initiation’, ‘siddhi’, and ‘evil eye’, they mentally influence the person. These claims have no scientific or verified basis. Despite this, through videos on social media promising wealth, gold and silver, religious symbols, and mysterious language, this business is spreading rapidly by winning people’s trust. Many people are losing their hard-earned money by getting trapped in the web of such tantriks. These activities have no connection with astrology or tantra vidya Astrologer Pandit Jaydeep Dubey says that real astrology and tantra vidya have no connection with such activities. According to him, ‘Nowadays, many people are committing fraud in the name of tantra-mantra and astrology. They take advantage of people’s fear and greed. This is completely a method of fraud and mental exploitation.’ He says that in such cases, people abandon scientific thinking and start believing in miracles, and this is where fraudsters get their opportunity.
