6-month-old innocent Ayan, abducted from Hussain Tekri in Jaora, Ratlam, was safely rescued by Shivpuri police on the intervening night of Friday-Saturday (June 5). The kidnapper woman and her accomplice were taking the child to Delhi via Indore. Acting on information from Ratlam police, Shivpuri police arrested both accused during a check at Purankhedi Toll Plaza. Kolaras SDOP Sanjay Mishra informed that information was received from Ratlam police around 12 AM on Friday night. Mobile location revealed that the accused were trying to cross Shivpuri’s border via NH-46. Following this, a blockade was set up in Badarwas, and police from Kolaras Police Station and Lukwasa Outpost were deployed at Purankhedi Toll Plaza to begin checking. 15 cars and 10 buses were searched, then Ayan was found The police did not have information about the vehicle. Ratlam police had only sent photos and locations of the suspects. During the checking that lasted for about an hour and a half, 15 cars and 8-10 passenger buses were searched. During this, there was also a traffic jam for some time. Finally, in the Kamala bus going from Indore to Delhi, a woman, a man, a 13-year-old teenager, and the kidnapped child Ayan were found with them. The child’s parents had come to Hussain Tekri from Sagar Ayan Khan is a resident of Sagar district. His father, Sahil Khan, said that he, his wife Shaheen, and their son had come to Hussain Tekri in Jaora about 10 days ago for darshan (pilgrimage). Around 4 AM on Friday, the family was sleeping. At that time, an unknown woman took Ayan while he was sleeping. About 10 minutes later, upon realizing the child was missing, the family informed the police via Dial-112. Kidnapped due to not having children In the initial interrogation, the woman stated her name as Rupa Raigar and the man as Nizam Mansuri. Both are residents of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. They are claiming to be adopted siblings. Nizam’s 13-year-old son was also with them. Rupa stated in the interrogation that she has no children, which is why she kidnapped the child. The investigation revealed that the accused reached Indore via Jaora, Ratlam, Ujjain and from there boarded a bus going to Delhi. Police investigating – is there a larger network? Upon receiving information about the child’s rescue, Ayaan’s parents reached Shivpuri. Since the case was from Jaora, Shivpuri police handed over the child and the accused to Ratlam police. On Saturday, Ratlam police departed with the accused, the child, and his parents. Now, the police are also investigating from the angle of whether a larger network was active behind taking the child to Rajasthan or Delhi.
