In the video, Manoj says that his wife, Sanjana Kushwaha, had gone to her parental home and was refusing to return. He claimed that despite repeatedly calling and requesting her to come back, she allegedly declined. Said – Even my tears have dried up In the video, Manoj says, “My wife left after living with me for eight months following our court marriage. She tells me to die. I want justice. She has ruined my life. Even my tears have dried up.” Pointing to the noose, he says, “Look, I have tied the rope and climbed this jamun tree. I am hanging myself because of my wife. I want justice from everyone, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. If I die, my wife Sanjana, Rinku and her entire family are responsible.” He further claims that he is unable to cry anymore and says he is ending his life because his wife refuses to return. Manoj also alleges that his wife’s family threatened to send him to jail and held them responsible for pushing him to this point. He says, “Her father threatened me just yesterday. He said he would have me jailed. I want justice from Mohan Mama, Shivraj Mama and everyone on Instagram. My wife, her parents, her mother and brother are all responsible.” She ruined my life and left In another video, Manoj is seen placing the noose around his neck and saying, “I am hanging myself. My wife says she will not come back. I have done nothing wrong. She entered my life and ruined it before leaving.” Appealing for justice, he says, “If my friends, the media or people on Instagram see this video, help me get justice. I only want justice.” Throughout the videos, Manoj repeatedly describes his wife’s behaviour as the primary reason behind his distress. Police said- Investigating the video Manoj’s father, Babulal Kushwaha, said that Manoj and Sanjana had a love marriage nine months ago. The couple initially lived together in Pune, Maharashtra, before returning to their native village. According to the family, Sanjana went to her parental home in Bhatgawan after returning on 27 May and did not come back. Relatives allege that the resulting emotional stress led Manoj to take the extreme step. Police officials said they are examining the authenticity of the viral videos and investigating all allegations made in them. They added that the actual circumstances behind the death and the truth of the accusations will only become clear after the investigation is completed.
