In Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, a stock market trader died under suspicious circumstances. The body was found in a locked room of the house. The body was lying on a bed spread on the floor. According to Sub Inspector Deepak Yadav of Orchha Road police station, the deceased has been identified as Rajesh Agarwal. The family originally hails from Baruasagar in Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh. The family had sold their house there. He had been living in Chhatarpur for a long time. The family had shifted to a new house just about a month ago. Earlier they used to live in the house opposite. Rajesh had been locked in one room of the house for the past two days. He had not come out. Police reached the spot after receiving information. MCX and stock market sites were open on the laptop According to the police, the room’s light was on. A mobile phone was lying near the body, while a laptop was kept in front in an on state. The laptop screen had an MCX and stock market-related portal open, which was continuously showing figures. The police have secured electronic devices and other necessary evidence from the spot. The initial investigation has also revealed that the deceased was involved in share trading and MCX trading. Rajesh had been locked in the room for 2 days The deceased’s 90-year-old mother told the police that Rajesh Agarwal had been locked in his room for the past two days. He had gone into the room on Tuesday night around 8 to 9 PM, after which he did not come out. Rajesh often used to stay locked in his room for several hours. In between, he would come out, eat a little food or take water from the fridge and go back to his room. This is why initially no one suspected much. Wife kept making rotis in the kitchen, son had no idea The police investigation also revealed that the deceased’s wife and son are mentally unwell. Even when the police arrived at the scene, both were unable to comprehend the normal situation. The wife kept making rotis in the kitchen, while the son remained sitting on the house sofa. During this time, neither of them could understand what had happened inside the house. According to the police, only the deceased’s elderly mother was in a condition to provide some information about the incident. No clear signs of struggle were found near the body, but blood was coming out from the deceased’s nose. Son gave register with relatives’ numbers During the investigation, the deceased’s son gave the police a register in which mobile numbers of relatives and acquaintances were written. The police informed family members and community people based on that register. Not much contact with neighbors either Neighbors told the police that the family did not have much interaction with anyone. The household members were rarely seen outside. The initial information also reached the police through informants that Rajesh Agarwal had not been contactable for the past two days. Rumors of involvement in MCX trading and betting It is being reported that Rajesh Agarwal was involved in MCX trading and betting business. There are also rumors that he had been caught gambling before. However, the police have not officially confirmed this matter yet. The deceased’s work, mobile data, laptop records, and financial activities will also be investigated.
