‘blood-mafia’-selling-blood-in-mp’s-hospitals:administering-hiv-positive-blood-by-tampering-with-records,-deal-in-just-₹5k-to-7k

A large network for the buying and selling of blood is active in Madhya Pradesh. Thousands of rupees are being extorted from patients’ relatives in the name of arranging blood. For one unit of blood, 5 to 7 thousand rupees are being demanded. The investigation also revealed that in some places, there are claims of administering infected blood by manipulating records. In Satna, a shocking revelation has come to light in Dainik Bhaskar’s investigation into the case of 4 children being transfused with HIV-infected blood in December 2025. In the blood bank’s records, blood that tested ‘HIV Positive’ was overwritten with a pen to show ‘Negative’. After this, the same blood was transfused to patients. Documents obtained by Bhaskar indicate that this is not just negligence, but a serious case of tampering with records. Bhaskar’s investigation revealed that this network includes hospital staff, sanitation workers, ambulance drivers, and even paan shop owners. Many people are acting as brokers in the name of arranging blood. Read Bhaskar Investigation Report Bhaskar Sting-1: Cleaner Turns Blood Broker Date: May 11-12
