The cabinet led by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has approved the state’s Transfer Policy 2026, allowing transfers across Madhya Pradesh between June 1 and June 15. The General Administration Department (GAD) had prepared the draft and sent it to the Chief Minister’s Office, after which it was finalized with approval from the CM and ministers. Ujjain to host key regional council meeting in 2027 At the beginning of the meeting, the Chief Minister informed that the next 27th meeting of the Central Zonal Council will be held in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, in 2027. Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will also review preparations for Simhastha 2028 after the meeting. He noted that a recent meeting in Bastar marked a symbolic message of ending Naxalism, as it was once considered a stronghold of insurgency. Officials honoured for anti-Naxal operations The Chief Minister congratulated police officials for their role in making Madhya Pradesh Naxal-free. He said Union Home Minister Amit Shah honoured Director General of Police Kailash Makwana, Special DGP Pankaj Srivastava, and other officers involved in anti-Naxal operations. State thanks Centre for MSP hike Dr. Yadav also expressed gratitude to the Central Government for increasing the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for crops including paddy, jowar, bajra, cotton, sesame, and soybean. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for the decision benefiting farmers. Welcome to High Court verdict on Bhojshala The Chief Minister welcomed the High Court’s decision on the Bhojshala complex in Dhar district, stating that Madhya Pradesh is a state of peace and harmony. He said maintaining law and order remains a top priority and assured that the government will respect the court’s decision while considering all sentiments. Efforts to bring back Goddess Vagdevi idol Dr. Yadav said the state government will work in coordination with the Centre to bring back the original idol of Goddess Vagdevi from abroad. He also appealed to citizens to maintain peace, harmony, and social unity. Training workshop for new appointees The Chief Minister called the recently organized training and orientation workshop for newly appointed heads and members of state corporations, boards, commissions, and authorities an innovative initiative. He said the workshop was designed to train officials on responsibilities, rules, regulations, and financial management. He urged them to contribute actively to the state’s development.
