multiple-injuries-found-on-twisha’s-dead-body:’aiims-postmortem-report-prepared-only-to-create-sensation’,-claims-mother-in-law

The mystery surrounding actress Twisha Sharma’s death in Bhopal has deepened after AIIMS Bhopal’s short postmortem report mentioned multiple injury marks on her body. Since the beginning, Twisha’s family has suspected foul play and alleged murder. However, her mother-in-law Giribala Singh, and family lawyer Inosh George Carlo have questioned the report, claiming it was drafted to create unnecessary sensation. They argued that while the report refers to injuries, it does not specify their exact location or number. They also said they have no objection to a second postmortem or an investigation by any agency and assured full cooperation with the probe. Forensic examination remained incomplete due to unavailability of belt Questions are being raised about the police investigation in this case. According to the postmortem report, the belt that was said to have been used for hanging was not taken by the investigating officer to AIIMS Bhopal at the time of postmortem. The belt was later submitted for examination, but doctors could not conduct a scientific examination of the alleged hanging instrument and the marks on the neck. After the lapse in the postmortem, Twisha’s family has demanded that the case be investigated by an independent agency outside Madhya Pradesh and a second postmortem be conducted at AIIMS Delhi. This is why the family is not ready to take the body and perform the last rites even 8 days after the death. Family members say that due to the belt not being available, doctors could not determine what was used for hanging. Proper matching and measurement of the neck marks could not be done either. Meanwhile, husband Samarth Singh’s anticipatory bail petition was rejected on Monday. Police say 6 teams engaged in search for accused Samarth ACP Rajnish Kashyap Kaul said that the belt used in the hanging had been seized, but could not be sent to AIIMS at the time of the post-mortem. A reward of ₹10K has been announced for the arrest of the accused Samarth. 6 teams are engaged in searching for him. He will be arrested soon. Mother-in-law broke down while talking to media The anticipatory bail of Samarth Singh, accused in a dowry death case, was rejected by the Bhopal court on Monday. Following this, his mother and former judge Giribala Singh appeared before the media for the first time. She made several claims regarding her deceased daughter-in-law and her family. Giribala Singh stated that his daughter-in-law, Twisha, had undergone an abortion of her own will. After this, she fell into depression. She mentioned that she herself stays at the Consumer Forum for 6 to 7 hours daily, and her son Samarth Singh also practices in court, so the daughter-in-law used to stay alone at home. Giribala also revealed that she had asked Twisha’s mother, Rekha, several times to come to Bhopal and stay with her daughter, but she never came. She came to Bhopal only once with her son, when Twisha had gone to her maternal home in anger. Twisha herself came with marriage proposal, later found out she was drug addict Giribala Singh said that Twisha came to our house for the first time last year. She herself proposed marriage to Samarth and said that there was an affair between them. Initially, Twisha and her family seemed cultured. Later, it seemed that Twisha was only acting cultured, because she was already associated with the glamorous field. Giribala Singh claimed that within a month of marriage, it became apparent that the daughter-in-law was addicted to some intoxicant. Her hands would tremble, her temperament would become irritable, and she would insist on going to Delhi because she could easily get cannabis there. Despite this, the family supported her, arranged counseling, and tried to help her quit the addiction. The controversy over actress Twisha Sharma’s death intensified after her mother-in-law, retired judge Giribala Singh, accused Twisha’s relatives of trying to gain attention from the case. She said Twisha had supported her parents financially throughout her life and “did not find peace while alive, nor after death.” Giribala also claimed the family was insulting a martyr’s widow, adding that her husband died while serving the nation and that they have faith in the justice system. She said the family has no objection to a second postmortem or any agency-led investigation. Meanwhile, Twisha’s sister-in-law Rashi alleged that Twisha faced harassment and taunts at her in-laws’ house, including remarks about pregnancy and having children. She claimed Twisha had earlier spoken about dowry harassment faced by the elder daughter-in-law as well. According to Rashi, constant humiliation pushed Twisha into depression, and she believes the actress’s death happened under suspicious circumstances rather than being a suicide.
