Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) ended Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) three-match winning streak with a commanding performance in IPL 2026 at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on 15 May. With this victory, LSG have dented CSK’s playoff hopes big time. Mitchell Marsh smashed a sensational 38-ball 90 to help LSG chase down a 188-run target with 20 balls remaining. While celebrating his wickets, he took out a note from his pocket in which was written, “#Akki on fire. Akash knows how to take wickets in T20 game.” The 24-year-old bowler later revealed the reason behind that celebration, saying that the note was there to motivate him. 2) Pomie Mbangwa shares a special message for Ian Bishop in commentary box The note celebration was not restricted to Akash Singh in this game. Pooran preferred the leg-side again for his third consecutive six, while the fourth and final maximum was hit over long-on. 7) Dewald Brevis’ first-ball six against Akash Singh Dewald Brevis smashed a six off the very first ball he faced in this match.
