Newly appointed Madhya Pradesh Housing Board Chairman Om Jain assumed charge on Friday and reviewed the board’s ongoing works and projects at the headquarters, Paryavas Bhavan. During the review meeting, Board Commissioner Gautam Singh gave a detailed presentation on various housing schemes and development projects being carried out by the board. Focus on middle and lower income groups Chairman Om Jain said the Housing Board should prioritise construction of maximum houses for middle and lower income groups. He also stressed the need to expand affordable housing projects in smaller cities along with major urban centres. He directed officials to work towards making housing projects more accessible and affordable for common people. Chairman visits Tulsi Greens project site After the meeting, Om Jain visited the under-construction Tulsi Greens Project site of the Housing Board. During the inspection, he appreciated the engineering work and construction quality of the project. He instructed officials and engineers to maintain high quality standards and ensure timely completion of all ongoing projects.
